Every girl has that dream. The dream of the doors opening, the room standing up and everyone watching you walk down the aisle next to your dad on your wedding day. I too have always had this dream. Then this sneaky thing called MS came in and that dream changed. I can no longer walk down the aisle towards Justin. He will have to watch me get pushed by my dad. That is not exactly the dream. But I was talking to my mom about it the other day and telling her how I run through all the emotions with that. Some days I am perfectly content and fine with it and some days I want to burst into tears my heart is so broken about it. She reminded me of 2 things: 1- I am getting my dream. I am marrying the greatest guy on the face of the planet, (for me=) and 2- God is getting the glory through this. Everything I have gone through in the last 8 years has been for His glory! Why would I want a moment that is so public not to be for Him? I have been telling myself that truth for the last week and have not been sad since!

My favorite verse to describe Justin and my relationship is "The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!"
To God be the Glory! He has done great things for you and for all of us and we need to be reminded more than we think! It will be wonderful!

You don't know me, I know your aunt Dawn and I started reading your blog when she posted it on her facebook. I have found your story very encouraging and have loved seeing God bring you a great man despite circumstances I know you'd rather not be in.
Best wishes for a happy and beautiful wedding day! walking down the aisle or being pushed, I know he will be beaming and consider himself lucky!
