Anything Worth Saying

I know that it has been a while since I have written on this blog, and for that I apologize. A song from Aaron Shust has been running through my head the last few months and this morning I could no longer ignore it:

"give me words to speak, don't let my spirit sleep, cause I can't think of anything worth saying, but I know that I owe You my life."

That totally sums me up right now. I can't think of anything. People say my words encourage them, but lately I have not been able to think of any. I do know this, and without a doubt I can say this: God is good. Nope, still not walking, nope, still can't really see out of my right eye. But let me tell you ways He has shown me His goodness to me in the last few months:

1. I have been on a medication for the past 5 years which I did not like for several reasons, it is an iv(needles!) that i had to get once a month. Also, it had some pretty bad side effects, one of which was death, so we were always looking for new things. In Hawaii, Justin's dad told me about a new medication that his mom was on. We read about it and were excited and then on my birthday the dr agreed and I started on the new stuff (it is called LDN, if you want to learn more)

2. My d-group: God has blessed me with a group of women who love the Lord and love each other. I am so grateful to the Lord for bringing all these ladies in my life!

3. Justin, I know have said before on here what a blessing he is, but I am saying it again. He is the best! He sits and watches football with me (even got him to cheer for the Gators!) he helps me clean, loves making fires, and never ceases to put a smile on my face and a laugh in my belly! Thank you for everything you do Justin- I love you!

You make it sound like I'm sacrificing something to sit and watch football with you. Um sure, I do it just for you. So painful ;-) Don't forget that you sit and watch baseball with me (and I know that can be agonizing), you give me the BEST company by the fire, and you never cease to put a smile on my face and a laugh in my belly. I love you too!
