I just read this on twitter and it really struck me. It pretty much does not make any sense to me. If you are praying and wanting to be used, God is going to use you. There is no way to be useless if you don't want to be. We all have a story, a place in the bigger story. Now, I am not sure how you are being used, but if you are opening yourself up to the ability to be used by Godm He is going to do it.

4 years ago today, God made sure I was going to be used. I was driving back to work following getting some labs done and was following a guy too closely. When he stopped at a yellow light, I hit him going probably 60 miles an hour. I walked away. But, about week later, walking got tough and has progressively become harder and harder since then. Now, I have NO IDEA, why God chose to put this in my story, and I pray (A LOT!) that He will take it away. At this point, He has not. But when I read that quote I thought: "This is God making sure I am not useless." To be honest, there is a lot of this that I see as useless, annoying and hard to deal with. But God doesn't! How crazy/awesome is that?!
