My mom said when I was growing up I was usually doing cartwheels or hanging out on my head while watching tv. If I sat still too long I tended to fall asleep. I have never officially been diagnosed with A.D.D., but I think it is safe to say that I have it. I was thinking about the verse that says "be still and know that I am God." For some people that is an easy task. They are good at sitting still, they are good at focusing on 1 thing. I am not, my mind is always going 100 miles an hour. So to sit and merely think and reflect on what the Lord has done for me and who He is is at times very difficult for me. Maybe it is hard for you too. My suggestion, get somewhere comfortable and quiet (I have a big comfy chair in my room I use); if you are able to turn off your cellphone and don't check facebook or twitter. You will be amazed at what God will show you when you are quiet before Him. Now, I am not saying this will be easy, in fact the first time it will probably be really hard. But stick with it. Because there is nothing more rewarding in life than simply living in God's will, and He will reveal this to you in stillness.
Love it!
